Les rues sont des jardins, je danse sur les trottoirs

Did you already listen to Carla Bruni's new album? It's called "Comme si de rien n'était", which means "As if nothing happened". It's her third album already, but the wife of French president Sarkozy did it again: a perfect album full of sweet chansons.

This is the wonderful music video for the song L'Amoureuse:

Photography and stylist are unkown. Does anybody know the stylist? I think I'll hire him or her. And the same with the photographer, wow.

Blowing bubbles in our bathroom

Etsy is a great website to find beginning artists and creative people. For example this user, her name is Shelby Healey. Her art is very sweet with funny details. On her website you can see her work. There are also some paintings, but I like her collages the most. And you can click on this link for her blog, where she shows her work and inspiration.

Photo's from her website and Etsy

I love the quote on her 'About Me page': "My objective is to create something that asks to be looked at."

By the way, I received a postcard from Finland today! Yep, from Postcrossing, the project I told you about yesterday. This time I did upload the card, look what a cute picture!

Postcrossing

I'm proud to be a member of this project. Postcrossing takes you back to sending old fashioned postcards. I've sent my first postcard to Finland a couple days ago. Unfortunately I forgot to scan the card I bought. It was really a nice one, black and white, with a lady and gentlemen on a bycicle. Yesterday there arrived an email in my mailbox with the good news: my card has found the right address!
Next thing is I'll get a postcard from a random user, can't wait!

So if you think this is exactly something for you, don't hesitate, because it's a lovely project. Subscribe to Postcrossing and make people from all over the world happy with your cards!

Photo's from I don't know where! Saved it a long time ago. I love the combination of postcards and vintage Paris.

Mr. Mraz at his best

I really really like Jason Mraz. He's funny and a good singer with lovely songs. You probably know him from his last album, "We sing, we dance, we steal things". It's a nice album, but in my opinion defenitely not his best. And that's why I'd like to introduce you to his old songs today!

First of all, Prettiest Friend. One of the cutest songs ever. Everytime I hear that sentence "I wrote this for my prettiest friend", it makes me smile.

Collapsible Plans, live in the streets of Paris. Lots of love for La Blogotheque. I think one day I'll make a post about this fantastic music log.

The Boy's Gone. Just listen.

And last but not least Hey Love. I guess this is my alltime favorite.

If you haven't enough of him yet, try Land down under, So unusual, Shy that way, Did you get my message, Who needs shelter and Summerbreeze. And don't forget to tell me your favorite!

Forget the film, watch the titles

Forget the film, watch the titles is a really nice website, full of creative short movies. Here you can find a collection of the most stunning and original film title sequences ever since 1997.
I especially like the one from "Juno" and "The Prize Winner of Defiance, Ohio", inspired by vintage 50's advertising! I haven't seen these movies yet, but now I'm sure I will some day.

These vintage advertisements really match with the title sequence of The Prize Winner. I love that fresh look each of the posters have.

I have to learn maths and other subjects for my exams next week, bluh. So wish me luck. I hope you'll have a nice day!

Out of nowhere, where is she going?

I found this great editorial featuring Ai Tominaga. Unfortunately I couldn't find some information about the shoot. I only know that it's an editorial for Vogue Australia, published in 2005. Anyone who could tell me more about photographer, stylist or date?

Photo's from Asian Models

I love the photographs, they look like paparazzi-shots. There's no stiff posing, just a busy girl in town.
Did you see her legs go on forever?! And the styling is fabulous. All black, but oh so chic!

Joten usea ihmiset joten usea muotoilla

HEL LOOKS is another website with street style fashion. This time you can have a look at the outfits from in the streets and clubs Helsinki. The people from Finland are very creative with patterns and mixing clothes. Men wear women trousers and women wear men cardigans. I guess it's all normal in Helsinki!

Some of my favorites:

PS. Wondering what the title means? "So many people so many styles", the same as the Lookbook-post, but this time in my best Finnish, uhu.
